About WOTNOT

Social & Environmental programs

Reuse, recycle and source responsibly

WOTNOT use 100% Renewable Energy in their office and warehouse.

We are very conscious of the waste generated in a standard office on a daily basis. Wherever possible we reuse first. If it cannot be reused by us we look to who could reuse it and so our empty tape rolls end up in childcare centres and local playgroups who use them for craft. If it can’t be reused we recycle. All paper and cardboard which is not reused is recycled. Any excess nappy boxes are used for collecting garden vegetation. The pallets used for the nappies are made from recycled woodchip and are sent to the local tip for recycling.

All our printed matter is from recycled paper/card.

WOTNOT are passionate about the wellbeing of our children and the environment

For this reason we have teamed up with the following fantastic organisations:

The Wilderness Society

We are supporters of The Wilderness Societys long-term vision and strategy to give nature its best chance of survival in the future. The Wilderness Society takes a ‘big picture’ approach in understanding how nature works, based on connections – between species, habitat, climate and people. Using cutting-edge science and led by the community, The Wilderness Society continent-wide conservation planning offers a brighter future for the environment, wildlife and people of Australia.

Bear Cottage

ECOdirect donate a percentage of all WOTNOT sales to Bear Cottage an initiative of the children's hopital at Westmead. Bear Cottage is a children's hospice in NSW. It is a place where children with terminal illnesses and their families can stay from time to time and receive rest and medical care in a home-like environment. In addition to providing respite and end of life care, Bear Cottage runs a number of other programs aimed to support the entire family.

Our Story

wotnot directorsECOdirect was started by Sinead Roberts and Sioned Guard with the aim of offering Australian parents an environmentally and baby friendly nappy, Moltex Oko, not previously available on the Australian nappy market. As our customers grew to love the quality and eco credentials of the Moltex nappy they asked for complementary products of an equally high standard and with all natural ingredients. And so WOTNOT Naturals was born and continues to grow with the feedback and requests from our customers.

Our customers are a joy to deal with and a strong directional force behind everything we do.

We are passionate about honouring the following core values:

  • Loyalty to our customers, employees and suppliers
  • Excellence in all that we do
  • Listening to our customers and being flexible to their needs
  • Care and respect for the planet we will pass on

Our people

WOTNOT was started by two mums who had infants and were both pregnant with their second so a flexible work environment was always part of our philosophy. We have a fantastic team of part-time staff who job and time share so that they can spend more time with their families.
